Research On The Status And Development Countermeasures Of Sightseeing Agriculture In Jiangxi Province

As a developing tertiary industry, sightseeing agriculture is a cross-industry combinedagriculture and tourism industry. Jiangxi is a traditional agricultural province in China withsuperior natural resources such as geographic location, climate and soil, that give it a goodopportunity to develop the sightseeing agriculture. How to exploit advantages, promote thetransformation and upgrading of agricultural development, and achieve the perfectcombination of agriculture and tourism, have become the urgent key issues.This research investigated the current situation of the sightseeing agriculturedevelopment in Jiangxi province, and then systematically analyzed the advantages anddisadvantages as well as opportunities and challenges with SWOT method. Meanwhile, thedevelopment strategies for sightseeing agriculture in Jiangxi province were proposed. Themain results are as follows:Jiangxi province has obvious advantages including natural resources, traffic location,tourism resources and agricultural development foundation to develop the sightseeingagriculture. On the other hand, the development of sightseeing agriculture in Jiangxiprovince is hindered by the following factors such as lack of effective and standardizedmanagement of the government, lack of inadequate resources integration and development,lack of professional talents, poor infrastructure, publicity and promotion.Meanwhile, the development of sightseeing agriculture in Jiangxi province is facingunprecedented opportunities. Government has promulgated a number of preferentialpolicies, and more and more consumers show more interesting in it. It is also facing anumber of challenges: the increase of peers and substitutability tourism, sustainabledevelopment and so on.Finally, the relative countermeasures and suggestions are put forward based on thecurrent development situation of sightseeing agriculture in Jiangxi Province.
