Logistics Park is the area with several modes of transport, the variety of logistics facilities and different types of logistics enterprises. It also is a place offering a variety of service for logistics enterprises. Logistics Park plays a important role in promoting the development of the logistics industry in China. While, the other industries related to logistics could benefit from the Logistics Park. However, due to the lack of overall planning in recent years, some Logistics Parks were built without considering the actual situation, which resulted in that some logistics parks were not taken full advantage, some even were abandoned. This has little benefit for the development of the logistics industry. Therefore, for the logistics park, the planning is very important. Moreover the park’s range of radiation is the basis for park planning. This paper is based on the research of Range of radiation and takes xiangtang logistics park for example. First of all, this paper gives a definition to logistics radiation. Then the paper analysis the condition of Xiangtang logistics park and concludes the problems that may exist among the process of construction. Based on the problems, the paper uses the gray prediction model, factor analysis, and Wilson model to calculate the radiation range of the park. Finally, the paper takes the conclusion from the modes as the bases of the recommendations for the planning of Xiangtang logistics park. The recommendation includes the overall of urban planning, the construction of logistics infrastructure, preferential policies, the transportation, the information platform construction, the attraction and the cultivation of talent. This paper hopes that Xiangtan logistics park could be more competitive in the ability of range radiation in the future.
