Check-in, which means to transact the check-in procedures for the travelers, is an important part for travelers to experience the aviation services. To determine the number and allocation of check-in counters is an important part of airport terminal planning, and the check-in service has a direct impact on the overall efficiency and quality levels of air-transportation. Currently, situations such as airport-congestions and fight-delays at the peak period are inseparable with the efficiency of check-in service. Thus efficient check-in service is a primary problem which needs to be solved, of course, too many check-in counters will also result in a waste of resources. Kunming Changshui International Airport, following Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, has become the fourth largest Chinese international hub airports, which is a China-oriented Southeast Asia, South Asia and linking Europe and Asia, and this also makes Kunming Changshui International Airport the only national hub airport in the western region of China. Therefore, through the efficient use of the airport terminal check-in counters resources, effectively reduce waiting time and improve the service level, and avoiding source-wasting are the urgent problems of Kunming Changshui International Airport.With acceleration of life-pace and the improvement of social competition, time has become the focal concern of modern people. The development of transport aircraft provides convenience and time-saving travel for people. The main works of the check-in part are helping passengers exchanging ticket for boarding pass and checking bags. Congestions often happen at the peak hours. Presently, focus of the research is to use traditional queuing theory, and the theoretical analysis mainly using approximate model, whereas the check-in services in real situations are more complex than theoretical model. Based on the actual operation, this paper mainly researches the check-in allocation and service. Firstly, this paper introduces the summary of check-in service, states the processes and main content of check-in service. Secondly, this paper mainly introduces the kinds of different counters, specific configuration and each service standard in Changshui airport. Thirdly, combined actual data of Changshui airport to judge the quality service for check-in counters. Lastly, this paper has provided several suggestions for Changshui airport to solve the existing problems in check-in servers.
