In recent years, the issue of the vegetable safety happens occasionally in our country, itshows the perceived severity and the urgency in the issue of quality and safety of agriculturalproducts in some degree. So, studying the adoption of farming household’s vegetable safetyproduction technology, ensure the vegetable quality safety at the source will play a positiverole in maintaining people’s health and safety, and promoting the development of modernagriculture and new rural construction.First of all, we introduce the background of the research and bring forward the researchquestion, definitudes the purpose and meaning of this research, then review the literature ofChinese and foreign briefly and put forward the thought of this paper, expatiate base frameand major contents, research methods and data resources, discusses the possible innovationand shortcoming;Next, we introduce the theories base, define the main concepts in our study,and review literatures of producer behavior theory from abroad; Then it goes on to describethe current situation that the adoption of farming household’s vegetable safety productiontechnology and analyze the problem it appears in a deep level; Then we design the empiricalanalysis, after this, it is the empirical analysis of decision-making, it applies the methods ofSEM and multiple regression to analyze the internal mechanism of farmers’ decision-making;The last part is the summary of this study, as well as proposals to guarantee the safe vegetablesupply.Through theoretical and empirical analysis, the dissertation finds out that most offarmers do not completely concerned about the adoption of vegetable safety productiontechnology, they still use unsafe technology. It also shows that farmers can not completelyunderstand what is safe vegetable and there is no doubt that the quality of vegetable is low,the reason is various. Farmers’ psychological factors, such as perceived-behavioral-control,behavioral intention, with cost, expectative profit, government’s regulation and service,farmer’s vegetable income and family’s land on vegetable influence the decision-making offarmers’ adoption of the vegetable safety technology directly. While farmers’ attitude and subjective-norms influence the decision-making indirectly. To sum up, farmers’decision-making of adoption vegetable safety technology is influenced mainly by farmers’behavior intention, perceived-behavioral-control, household resources, economic factors,policy, regulation and other factors.
