Seeking an environmentally friendly renewable energy source is a considerable approach toaddress energy dilemma and environmental pollution. On account of abundant materials and a wide rangeof fields, biomass energy is the fourth most consuming renewable energy source in the world. Therefore,various countries are increasing the recycling utilization of biomass energy sources and make it possible totreat biomass power generation as the main electric form. Chinese biomass power generation lag behindother western countries starts later. Although it is a positive potential industry, biomass field is still notincompletes. In addition, technical of boiler should import from foreign areas gives rise to materialsproblems strongly limit relevant enterprise development. Nowadays, due to these firms too dependentnational politics, the industry of biomass power generation is not yet explores a series of well-workedbusiness operated model and fall into general debility. As a sustain development industry, it is worthwhileto consider related topics, for examples, the reason why loss situation, the method how to decrease lossuntil companies obtain positive economical benefits and the approach how to promote the development ofbiomass power generation field.Recently Chinese generate electricity researches mainly focus on coal and wind power generationcompanies rather than biomass. And most researches emphasize on production equipment technology andphysical distribution but not the cost control of biomass power generation. Biomass generator is differentcost model with other power generation forms owing to its low installed capacity, great fuel demanding,high-level operation expenditure and high unit costs. Based on researches of predecessors this paperintroduces the chief experiences of foreign biomass power generation and combines the industryenvironment&cost characteristic of Chinese biomass power generation to analyze the cost control ofbiomass value chain and bring solutions to improve the cost dilemma of biomass power generation industryand related enterprises.
