A Study On The Transformational Development Of Coal Industry In Shanxi Province From Prespective Of Sctentific Concept Of Development

As the rapid development of society and economy, global economy has achieved its prosperities. At the same time, the growing of economy has also brought some problems that cannot be ignored throughout the world. Among which include global warming, energy shortage and environmental pollution.There is one same background, on which countries around the world face some common challenges. In regard to global climate and energy issues, in order to promote economic development, Shanxi Province will have to change the development mode that originally based on coal industry. Under the guidance of scientific theories, Shanxi should adjust the direction of economic development and take the catching up development as strategy. Promote the restricting and development of economy and set leapfrog development as the goal. To recreate a new Shanxi in the pattern of rising of Central China and competing for development, therefore we could lay the foundation for sustainable development. To achieve transforming development is comply with international developing strategy in the Twelfth Five Year Plan.The Scientific Concept of Development which put forwarded by President Hu Jintao can provide theoretical guidance for the transforming development of Coal industries in Shanxi. The Scientific Concept of Development adheres to the people-oriented, comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development. It is an important ideological leap of economic development. In the eighteenth National Congress Report, it has been put forwarded clearly that the Scientific Concept of Development must be long-term adhered as guiding ideology. Over the past decade, it has proved that under the scientific developing theory, China has achieved rapid development. It is the very essential requirement of Scientific Concept of Development to achieve the transforming development. It can be said that the objective requirements of SCD is to promote reform and development of economy. Under the guidance of Marxist Theory, to comply with requirement of SCD, Shanxi should firmly grasp the laws of economic development and combine the practice to promote a more rapid economic development.The present article analyzes the theoretical and strategic significance of the SCD in the process of transforming development of Coal Industries in Shanxi. Further explore the strategic objectives that to build Shanxi into industrial, urbanized, modernized key region economic and cultural province among central China. Take the SCD as guidance and with scientific theories, the economic structure will be adjusted through a people-oriented way. To achieve a comprehensive transforming and promote new industrialization, finally achieve sustainable development in further economic development in Shanxi Province.
