On Inspiration Of The Rise And Decline Of Ze Lu Businessmen For Transformation And Development Of Shanxi

Ze Lu businessman is an important part of Shanxi merchants during Ming and Qing dynasty, they made a widely influence in Chinese history. Ze Lu businessman mainly engaged in resource-based industries, they created a legend of business. However, they declined with the rise of Jin Zhong exchange shop and the social turbulence.As a big resource-type province, Shanxi’s mineral resource exploitation and utilization has been a long time. The development history of coal industry can be traced back to the modern times, so we can say Shanxi’s glorious history related closely to its rich resources.As China’s typical resource-based area, Shanxi shouldered the task that important energy and raw materials base task for a long time, so Shanxi has made outstanding contributions to our country’s energy supply and the modernization construction. However, because of excessive reliance on the development of coal resources and the development of extensive pattern, resulting in a series of contradictions and problems, such as single industrial structure, decreased efficiency, serious resource waste and environmental pollution. Under such severe situation, the transformation development for Shanxi is imminent.There are some similarities between the development experience of Ze Lu businessmen and Shanxi province. Through literature review, this article researched the theory of the rise and decline of Ze Lu businessmen, the development situation of Shanxi and the transformation of resource-based city. Through the social investigation, Under the guidance of scientific view of development, this article investigate thoroughly the effective way of Shanxi’s transformation development from the rise and decline of Ze Lu businessmen.There are six parts in this article. The first part is preface and it elaborated the background, significance and researching at home and abroad of the article; the research contents, direction and methods; and the difficulties and possible innovation. The second part is a presentation of related concepts; expound the basic definitions such as the scientific concept of development, the transformation development, the Resource-based City. The third part discussed the concept definition of Ze Lu businessmen during Ming and Qing dynasty, mainly analyzed the reasons of the rise and decline of Ze Lu businessmen through the historical angle. The fourth part analyzed the status quo of the development of Shanxi, then combined with the case, expounded the necessity of the transformation and development. The fifth part starting from the experience of the Ze Lu businessmen’s rise and decline, taking the scientific concept of development as the guide, summarized the countermeasures of transformation and development for Shanxi province. The sixth part is the conclusion.The transformation and development of Shanxi province is the task which has both important theoretical significance and realistic significance. From the view of history, based on the historical materialism, taking the scientific concept of development as the guide, his paper analyzed the reason of the Ze Lu businessmen’s rise and decline during Ming and Qing dynasty to research the relevant problems of Shanxi province development, aims to provide some constructive suggestions for the transformation and development of Shanxi province.
