The Research Or The Effects Of Agricultural Structure Adjustment On Increasing Farmers’ Income In Suihua City

Farmer is at the core of “agriculture, rural area and farmer”, increasing their incomes is the key ofimproving farmers’ life. Agriculture industry structure adjustment, agricultural surplus labor transfer andurbanization level are most important factors that affecting the incomes of farmers’ increasingcontinually. The income level of farmer not only affects carrying out of national economic policy, butalso affects national economy whether develop sustained and stable with a high speed, even affectspermanent peace of nation. Both achievements of rural economy development and farmers’ livingstandards show by farmers’ income.The survey data of farmers’ income level of Suihua shows farmers’ income level is on the low side.And the main reason is the farmers’ income growing slowly and big gaps between urban and rural areasresidents. By intensive studying the cause, the author found: except affected by macro policy factors andeconomic circumstances factors, the farmers’ income also affected by the adagio of agriculture industrystructure adjustment which can’t meet the demands of market and made agriculture industry deficiencyin economic performance.As one important commodity grain base of China, Suiha should take both economic developmentand food security in mind. During agriculture industry structure adjustment period, Suihua still needs toplay a full role of geographic advantage of a major grain producing area, farmers should first plant graincrops, and then develop special crops and cash crops positively; should accelerate the steps of animalhusbandry development and agricultural surplus labor transfer. So in Suihua area, adjust the agricultureindustry structure should consider the particularity of a major grain producing area. To accelerateagricultural surplus labor transfer, increase farmers’ incomes, meet the aim of sustained, rapid and soundeconomic growth, Suihua should take a view to agriculture industry structure or adjust crop varietystructure、regional readjustment、technology structure of agriculture. Adjust the structure of agricultureindustry should in the premise of protecting and enhancing the overall grain production capacity, andthen make the adjustment to the breadth and depth of agricultural development.
