The annual budget revenue of San He city has reached28,200,000,000Yuan RMB at the end of2011, and was the second of He Bei Province. The natural environment of San He city is perfect for thevegetable industry, and the vegetable industry is also a big profit for San He city. In2011, the totalvegetable planting area reached almost200,000acres including80,000acres of land vegetable,80,000acres of greenhouse vegetable and30,000acres of mulch vegetable. The total output of vegetablereached800,000acre and the total profit amount was more than8,000,000,000Yuan RMB, which was60%of the profit amount of agriculture in2011. Based on the statistics, the profit of facility vegetable ismore than10times of land vegetables and more than25times of crops. So, the vegetable industry hasgiven the main profit for the agriculture of San He city and the development of vegetable industry hasbecome the trend of the times.This paper is composed based on the detailed research, and it makes a conclusion for the status ofvegetable industry in San He city. The vegetable industry has given a big profit for San He city and thesupporting technology in San He city fits its’ development very well including the greenhouse structure,management association and the marketing. The vegetable industry in San He city has its ownexperience in information, technology, marketing and management. From the research, the author of thepaper also found some problems in San He city’s vegetable industry, such as the total area of vegetableshas increased by a low speed, on the other hand, the cost and risk have increased quickly. Otherproblems such as the technology have not been spread, and the product doesn’t have their owncharacteristics. The author has given some solutions for above problems in the paper, such as to developthe technology of green house, to give the guarantee for the vegetable industry’s funds, to make goodindustry planning, and the government gives bigger efforts to support vegetable industry and so on.This paper aims at giving good suggestions for the vegetable industry in San He city based on thevaluable research.
