With the development of market economy, the living standards of the County residents is risingquickly, the financial needs of the County residents is also increasing, so County became one of theimportant markets for banks to grow and develop. For the banks, the development of the county economy isa new opportunity and a new market for banks to grow and develop, but at the same time, big cities dueto the county market, many problems facing the front of the commercial banks, such as how to take root inthe county market, how to establish a bank brand, how to capture the market share and so on.. To this end,the banks have to think deeply, from the county market demand, the county economic characteristics andcounty residents financial habits. Looking for ways and means suitable for development in the county, so asto promote the development and growth of its own retail business. Agricultural Bank as the bank, one of themost extensive distribution network in China, in the County has the advantages of the network layout, butfaces the same impact as industry development challenges.In this paper, the Wenzhou branch of the Agricultural Bank of China, for example, research carried outby the economic and financial situation of the county of Wenzhou, the Industrial and Commercial Bank ofChina, Bank of China, Construction Bank, commercial banks, represented by comparative analysis, findand summed up the development of the Agricultural Bank of China branch in Wenzhou feasiblecountermeasures, including the retail business innovation, innovative marketing methods, the customermanagement changes in the methods and the marketing concept updated four aspects. On the basis of thestudy at the same time, our county Agricultural Bank of China how to adapt to the county market, learn tocontinuous development and growth of the retail business issues.This paper first analyzes of the county economic change and the financial needs of the people, judgedon the basis of the commercial banks in the county development opportunities, followed by Case Study ofWenzhou Branch, Agricultural Bank of China, analysis of the bank’s local economic environment facingelements of the same competition, with their own advantages and disadvantages, and concluded theWenzhou branch of the Agricultural Bank of China should seek retail business development opportunitiesthrough the four aspects of change and innovation, I hope our other County Bank the development of theretail banking business to provide a positive reference significance.
