Analysis On Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Mariculture Industry In Yantai

With the continuous expansion of the size of the population and the increasingdemand of sea food, Mari-culture industry gets more of coastal national attention inthe world, and it also become the mainstream direction of human development andutilization of marine living resources. In recent years, Mari-culture industry has madea considerable progress in Yantai, and the comprehensive production capacitycontinues to increase, it plays an increasingly important role in the socio-economicdevelopment. But the rapid development has also brought in many kinds of problems.It has become an urgent problem to be solved to promote the development ofMari-culture industry on the basic of local economic, social and natural conditions.The paper refers to the theory of sustainable development, industrial structureoptimization theory, comparative advantage theory and waters bearing capacity theory.It also combines with Yantai Mari-culture industry development status. UsesAHP-SWOT analysis method and conducted in-depth analysis of various factors thataffect the development of Mari-culture industry in Yantai. According to the results ofthe analysis, we propose the basic development idea and countermeasures of YantaiMari-culture industry, in order to provide guidance for the sustainable development ofthe marine aquaculture industry in Yantai City.The results show that sort affecting aquaculture development in Yantai CitySWOT between the groups is the strengths＞opportunities＞threats＞weaknesses, themain advantage is the location advantages, the main threat to aquaculture productquality risks, chances are the domestic and international market demand, the mainthreat is shrinking breeding space. Departure from the principle of play to ourstrengths, overcome weaknesses, take advantage of opportunities, avoid threats,Yantai City, aquaculture development should be taken to a growth strategy, combinedwith other national development strategies. Based on this conclusion, in order topromote the sustained and healthy development of Yantai City, aquaculture, should focus on the following aspects: first, to strengthen scientific and technological supportsystem to improve the core competitiveness of aquaculture; Second, theimplementation of the aquatic breeding project, lay a solid foundation for thedevelopment of aquaculture; third, the implementation of brand strategy to improvethe competitiveness of fisheries; fourth, strengthen policy support, improve fisheriesprotection; fifth, optimize the structure of marine aquaculture; sixth, to establish adiversified, open-end investment and financing mechanism.
