Research On Environmental Logistics Industry Development In Guangxi

Along with the rapid development of the economic development of Guangxi, logistic industry is considered as the pillar industries in national economy. However, in parallel with enhancing the economic development, logistic industry generates the serious environmental issues which compounded by all the aspects of the traditional logistic industry. This is the heated topic that faced by Guangxi to continue developing the logistic industry. This issue directly impact whether the logistic industry in Guangxi can develop persistent, rapid and sound or not.This paper first gives a brief introduction on the development scale of the logistics industry and the feasibility analysis of developing green industry in Guangxi, and illustrates the concept of "Green logistics". On the basis of lessons draw from domestic and overseas about developing green logistic, this paper analyzes the factors that restrict the developing of green industry in Guangxi, such as backward logistics infrastructure and techniques and lack of professionals in green logistics. Accordingly, this paper come up with the solutions to develop the green logistics by constructing the Guangxi logistic system, setting up the concept of green logistic, perfecting the policies and systems and innovating the logistics enterprises. In addition, the paper points out that through vigorously promoting the green logistic concept, changing traditional logistic management system, strengthening the planning and building of the green logistic infrastructure, optimizing the distribution of logistic industry and making the government play a supervision role in the logistic activity, etc. to promote the development of green logistics in Guangxi.This paper also analyzes the statistics by using the data and charts through the transportation and warehousing in Guangxi, the postal service percentage of GDP in Guangxi district, logistics services and the total volume of imports and exports. The paper further briefly introduce concrete proposals that built the green logistic system and set up the idea of green logistic in order to get over the problem that faced by the developing process of logistic scale and green logistic in Guangxi, such as the low level of infrastructure, the backward of logistics technology, the small in scale of logistics enterprises, and the weaker ability. With the hope of that these suggestions could be put in practice to promote the developing of green logistic industry and the economic development of Guangxi as a whole.
