On the basis of careful analysis of the relationship between research at home andabroad on the development of tourism and transport its both rapid development and theclose relationship between the background and a more thorough internal relations oftourist flows and tourist traffic between the two analysis.First, the use of domestic and foreign tourist flow and transport research literatureanalysis, a thorough analysis, clear the existing degree of research at home and abroad,aware of the need for this research, as well as accumulated other research methods.Second, this article focus on using a combination of qualitative and quantitativeanalysis method. First, qualitative analysis, the tourist flow from the development oftransportation and tourism flow changes in traffic development elaborate, whichsummed up the tourist flow and transport development of interdependence, mutualpromotion; Second, quantitative analysis, the southwest Region20002011transportation Development and Tourism stream large amounts of data to collect, usingthe coupled model the detailed calculation of the correlation of the southwest regionaltourist flow and transport development, commonly used qualitative research model andprevious tourism studies There is a big difference.Third, on the basis of the first two parts, we draw the tourist flow and transportdevelopment interdependence, mutual promotion and common development of theconclusion. The southwest tourist flow and traffic is still in lower intermediatecoordination coupling stage, and belongs to the type of traffic constraints, it isrecommended to increase investment in transportation construction, planning andimplementation efforts. In this paper, results have certain practical significance.
