The Analysis Of Competitive Environment And The Study Of Group Operation Management Of General Hospital Of Ningxia Medical University

As a first class of hospital, General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University has become the centre of health, education, research, examination and training centre in Shangxi, Gansu, Mongolia and other adjacent provinces. It has contributed more than one third of medical resources in Ningxia and been a leading hospital in Northwest Territories. The hospital aims to reform public hospitals, integrate resources and assist the development of local medical level.The aim of this study is to investigate the current status of GHNMU, provide stragtegies and suggestions, regulate functional orientation, strengthen the government’s support and suggestions, strengthen the links of property rights, enhance cohesion, in order to improve the internal management mechanism, promote the rationalisation of the size of the group. Four methods including the theory of property right, competitive strategy, PEST model and the five forces model were used in this study. The group operation of GHNMU has been improved by learning from advanced experience overseas. This study will assist GHNMU achieve the strategic objectives better, enhance its core competitive ability, provide guidance for the development of group hospital for other hospitals in Ningxia.
