The Research On The Management Of Operational Risk In NingXiaVillage Banks

In order to solve the supply variances and competition problems in rural banking, CBRC, in accordance with the State Council, deregulate the market access of banks to rural area to accept a broad range of social capital to construct village banks in2006.After seven years of hard work, village bank is walking on a road with Chinese characteristics through accurate positioning and differentiated operation for profits. However, we find many threats of financial risk to the development of village banks, and one of the representives is operational risk. According to debate the definition and management of operational risk in Ningxia village banks, this paper will put some relevant countermeasures and advices for consultations.The thesis is composed of following six parts.The first part is the introduction, which introduces the background, the purpose, the significance, research ideas and methods, it also systemically summaries the research status and findings about the management of operational risk in China and foreign countries.The second part is the summary of the bank operational risk problems, and it detailedly discusses the bank operational risk problems from six part which is about conception, characteristics, causes, measurements, events and methods of international operational risk management.The third part is the analysis about business character and positioning of Ning Xia village bank from conception and character, which summaries the special positioning and business character of village bank in the aim of service for agriculture, village and peasantry and positioning in rural area.The fourth part is analysing the general situations and operational risk management of Ning Xia village bank, it points the operational risk management problems and analyses the reasons through introducing the general situations about construction, development and operational risk management in Ningxia village banks.The fifth part is countermeasures and advices about improving the operational risk management in Ningxia village banks. First, it defines the basic principle of operational risk management in Ningxia village banks. Then, it systemically summaries the works the operational risk management needs from macroscopic, microcosmic and medium views.The sixth part serves as a conclusion on the demonstration above, in which the importance of the operational risk management in Ningxia village bank is further emphasized.
