China is an economic development a relatively high degree of external dependence, onone hand, the United States, the European Union and other developed countries importscontraction; On the other hand, China’s domestic demand, there is a serious lack ofstimulating rapid economic growth of the "troika" of a consumer in the past decade, theexpansion of domestic demand as a long-term strategy to promote economic growth and abasic point, give full play to the leading role of domestic demand. China has a large ruralpopulation, consumer groups composed by a large population in rural areas, a new impetus toexpanding domestic demand, growth.Since the reform and opening up, Xinjiang people’s living standard has been improvedsignificantly. But consumer demand there is still below the average level, the lack of ruralresidents’ consumption seriously restricting the expansion of consumer demand in Xinjiang,and also restricting the sustained and healthy development of the economy of Xinjiang. Theuse of modern econometric methods, combined with Xinjiang rural consumer actual conductin-depth analysis of the problem of rural financial institutions to support Xinjiang ruralconsumption effect.Found by theoretical analysis the current Xinjiang rural consumer market there is theproblem of imbalance of supply and demand, which makes financial institution fails toexercise the duties of good support rural consumption. Empirical analysis suggests that theexistence of the causal and long-term cointegration relationship between financial support andimprovement of rural consumption in the rural areas of Xinjiang, at the same time continue toinvest in financial infrastructure will help to improve the consumption environment in ruralareas. Finally, based on the results of theoretical and empirical analysis, the proposed path offinancial support to expand rural consumption: the expansion of rural consumption, increasefarmers’ income is essential to increase the supply of funds is the means to push forward theprocess of urbanization is the key to improve the credit guarantee system is the key.
