| Today, energy is the material basis of human activity. Energy development is thecommon concern issues of the entire world and all mankind. It is also an importantproblem about social and economic development in our country. However, with theincrease of energy consumption, energy crisis and environmental problems and otherissues have emerged. In recent years the share between manufacturing energy consumptionand total consumption is more than50%with a tendency of increasing. Owing to havingthe advantage of resources, Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia is the important energybase in western China and even the whole country.The thesis’ perspective is the manufacturing of high energy-consuming industries, andit based on the basic theory of energy consumption, forecasting theory in data mining andthe theory of carbon footprint. So the deep research of manufacturing energy consumptionand carbon footprint in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia has carried. Starting from theassociated analysis of manufacturing energy consumption between the environmental andeconomic, the author established the prediction models of the manufacturing energyconsumption in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia and also calculated the carbonfootprint of manufacturing energy consumption in the three provinces.First, the author analyzed the present situation of the manufacturing energyconsumption and environmental pollution in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia. Secondusing the relevant data of Inner Mongolia as an example, the author made a grey associatedanalysis of manufacturing energy consumption between the environmental and economicand calculated the elasticity coefficient of energy consumption and economic growth. Theassociation degree decreases in the sequence about the manufacturing energy consumptionin Inner Mongolia is industrial soot emissions, industrial waste gas emissions, industrialwastewater emissions and chemical oxygen demand, industrial SO2emissions, industrialdust emissions about manufacturing. The association degree decreases in the sequence about the GDP about manufacturing enterprises is coke, electric consumption, gasoline,kerosene, fuel oil, coal, natural gas consumption, diesel oil, crude oil. Then proceed fromthe data of manufacturing energy consumption in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia, theauthor used the regression analysis, gray forecast analysis of data mining technology,established regression model and gray prediction model of manufacturing energyconsumption in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia separately which is effectiveprediction method for the three provinces. Finally the author used the IPCC method,estimated the consumption of CO2, total carbon footprint, the earnings of the carbonfootprint and ecological pressure value of the manufacturing energy in Shanxi, Shaanxiand Inner Mongolia from2001to2010. And on this basis, using the STIRPAT model therelationship between the carbon footprint of energy consumption and economic growth isstudied. The author made the conclusion that solving the manufacturing energy problemsin the three provinces can not only depend on the economic development.Based on the conclusion mentioned above, the writer provides some suggestions onoptimizing the structure of manufacturing industry, developing circular economy,promoting the reasonable application of new energy, perfecting the relevant laws andregulations and other policy recommendations. |
