Study On Land Use Differentiated Policy In Western China

With the economic development of western region, land supply and demand havebecome an increasingly prominent problem. To protect the sustainable development in theWest, the key is to adopt the differentiated policies of land management.This research subject is the Differentiation of land use policy in the western region ofchina by the methods of theoretical analysis， data collection， literature retrieval andcombining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis. Although all provinces in thewestern region has established several differentiated policies of land use and piloted in someareas, but now it has not yet formed a unified, scientific and executable policy standard. Thecurrent policy of land use is one-sided, incomplete, and it can’t generalize to other area, didnot rise to the national level. Government should summarize the useful experiences of localland use policies, and establish a national level reference standard. Firstly, the article analyzethe current land use situation of western area，compare the features of economic development,population， land resources and other conditions between three regions. Secondly, accordingto the specific gaps of three regions, western development strategy of China,"12th Five-YearPlan" strategy and the usable policies that had been implemented in some western area,establish the differentiated policies of land use that adapt to the characteristics of the westernregion. Finally, give a lot of recommendations for the difficulties which encountered in theimplementation process of the policy.
