As an important module of human resource management, Performancemanagement is not only the guarantee of enterprise executive power, but the importantannulus to achieve the strategic goal. According to their own actual situation,Enterprises should establish a set of management system which is reasonable,effectiveand practicable. On the basis of the modern performance management theories andmethods, the author systematically introduces the existing performance managementsystem of ChangYong company. Besides conducting a comprehensive, scientificanalysis and research and summing up its shortcomings, key performance indicators ofthe company performance management system improvement is also discussed as animportant section in this article. The author hopes that this article can have realisticeffects.One is that it can provide the theory basis for ChangYong companyperformance management system improvement, which will be benefit for the businessperformance management reform. The other is to provide references for other similarcompanies establishing and improving performance management system. Withintroducing problems, analysising problems, and problem-solving as the masterstroke,the full text is divided into the following parts. In the first part, the author puts forwardthe research backgrounds, significances, ideas and methods; in the second part, an in-depth study of the performance, performance management theories and methods isdiscussed, as well as the characteristics of performance management of small ormedium-sized enterprises; In the third part, as the theoretical support of the article, theauthor briefly introduces the industry backgrounds and development histories of theChangYong company, and then analyzes the human resources situation andperformance management for the ChangYong company’s at present;In the fourth part,an analysis of the existing performance management system of ChangYong company,as well as the main problems and causes is deeply discussed; In the fifth part, with theprogressive performance management thoughts, and the success experience from Chinese and foreign enterprises performance management, the author puts forward thetargeted improvement ideas and specific practices by combining ChangYongcompany’s actual situation; In the last part of the paper, The author provides acomprehensive summary of the article, and points out that the insufficient of this thesisstudy and the future research direction.
