Study On Industrial Restructuring Adjustment Of Gansu Based On Energy Efficiency

Generally speaking, the shortage of energy resources and environment pollutionare inevitable phenomena in the process of economic development, however, thesephenomena have affected the sustainable growth of economy and the quality of ourlife. Therefore, we must change the pattern of economic development from justconcerning economic growth to sustainable economic development. To achieve thisgoal, we must study the constraint of natural resources and environment during theoptimization of industrial restructuring.As a traditional industrial province in Northwest China, a typical characteristicof the industry in Gansu province is dualistic structure, that is to say, the agriculturelevel is low, and the industry mostly are heavy and chemical industry with highenergy consumption, the urgent problem of Gansu province is how to adjust theindustrial restructuring to reduce the energy consumption and promote the economicdevelopment healthily and fast. According to the theory of industrial restructuringevolution, the paper analyzes three questions in-depth by using the quantitativemethod and the qualitative method, the questions are as follows: the basic situation ofGansu province of industrial restructuring and energy consumption, the correlativitybetween industrial restructuring and energy consumption, the economic contributionof the three major industries of Gansu. Based on these analyses, the paper thinks thatwe must take measures to improve the energy efficiency in order to adjustment theindustrial restructuring of Gansu Province, this is essential.
