It is well known that energy is related to economic vitals and safety of acountry. In allusion to many challenges of the energy field, the paper analyzes therelationship between energy demand and the economic growth from qualitative andquantitive aspects, based on the situation of our country energy, And then introducesseveral methods of energy forecasting, establishes the energy forecasting model,forecasts the energy consumption of China; Whereafter, energy elasticity coefficient,energy consuming intensity and energy efficiency are studied deeply in this paper.On the basis of above, we get suggestions on the strategy choice of Chinese energydevelopment.. Finally, a summary and prospect are given.
