Xi’an Janssen Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. is growing up quickly in recent years.However, the rate of the salesmen turnover rises most significantly, which to some extentinfluences the business performance of the foreign companies, as well as the confidenceand attention toward the investment in China.By the analysis of turnover behavior, salesmen characteristics and the background ofthe company, this specific analysis of the salesmen characteristics in the Janssen Companyis obtained. Through the in-depth interviews and questionnaires, the leaving situations ofsalesmen in Shandong provence are researched. Three reasons have been got, i.e., externalfactors (including industry factors, social factors, and enterprise competitiveness factors),internal factors (salaries and benefits factors, and environmental factors), and individualfactors (personal development factors). These reasons have further been analyzed. TakingXi’an Janssen Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. for example. The results show that87.4%of theemployees are lack of the necessary understanding of this company before entering. Insecondary jobs, only a few employees choose to work in the industry. Most choose toother industries. So it proposed to increase the staff’s achievement motivation, emotionalmotivation and incentive measures such as personal development. For example, this articleaims to further explore the work status of the salesmen in the foreign companies and theirreasons for leaving. It puts forward the solution countermeasure toward this specific group.This research has important theoretical and practical exploration significances for ourcountry’s economic stability and development under the current economic situation.
