The Research Of The Effect Of Undertaking International Service Outsourcing On China’s Optimization Of Industrial Structure

With the development of the information technology as well as theever-concentration competition strategy among multinational corporations, internationalservice outsourcing sets off a new wave of global industry transfer after manufacturingoutsourcing. Its rise has a profound impact on international division and industrialdevelopment. Service outsourcing has several features such as low pollution, lowconsumption, high technology and high additional value. There will be streaming fromcountries of knowledge, technology, capital and management experience along withservice outsourcing. Under the new form of trade, developing countries can realizegreat-leap-forward development probably. As a result，sizing the opportunity of serviceoutsourcing, promoting the development of our service industry and optimizing industrialstructure is a realistic and important problem that we have to face at present.Focused on this realistic and important problem, this thesis pays attentions on theeffects of undertaking international service outsourcing on China’s optimization ofindustrial structure theoretically and empirically. Firstly, the thesis introduces the conceptand connotation of international service outsourcing and the optimization of industrialstructure concretely and sets forth classical theory of evolution of industrial structure.Based on above-mentioned theory, the thesis analyses and summarizes innermechanization and pathway that undertaking international service outsourcing promotesthe optimization and upgrading of industrial structure combining with the currentdevelopment situation of China’s international service outsourcing industry; Then, startingfrom the essence and connotation of international service outsourcing and the optimizationof industrial structure, the paper adopts Co-Integration analysis and Granger CausalityTest to prove that undertaking international service outsourcing can promote the heightsand rationalization of the industrial structure according to time series data from1997to2010.The results, in accord with the preceding theory analysis, show that the internationalservice outsourcing has distinct positive effect on the optimization of industrial structure.That is, undertaking international service outsourcing can promote the optimization andupgrading of industrial structure; Lastly，according to specific conditions of our country,the thesis gives some suggestions to eliminate obstructs and promote the development ofthe service outsourcing industry from government and enterprise two aspects.
