In this paper, from the perspective of comparative analysis, it discusses the developmentstatus of American audio-visual new media industry, focuses on the U.S. telecommunicationsindustry and the media industry to achieve the industry convergence and unified regulationpolicies, methods and steps about the telecommunications industry and media industry. Itprovides a reference path to China,s booming the media communications industry.The United States implement the core of Federal Communications Commission as thetelecommunications industry regulatory agencies, from the macro and independenceperspective identified the status of the unified regulatory model and practical value.Understanding of the U.S. telecommunications regulation and the Federal CommunicationsCommission, is a core issue to related to the U.S. telecommunications industry. Thetelecommunications industry is the need to regulation, but what the specific regulation way,what regulation content,and to what regulation extent, according to the actual situation,how tothe regulation system changes and adjust to regulations,the problem is the need for furtherresearch.The audio-visual new media has become an important way to accept information andentertainment for modern people. It appears not only to break the boundaries to the originalmedia, which greatly expanded autonomy and expression of Internet users, but also to thetraditional management system is a challenge,and to the media reform has played a role inpromoting. In United States, there is also a question to balance the market and theaudio-visual new media industry.
