Research On Computer Audit Of Power Engineering Under Informatization Environment

For a long time, affected by manyfactors, power companies mainly has been using the static audit approach after the completionof construction projects, the oversight functions of audit hard to get and the traditional manualaudit mode can not adapt to the new situation. In recent years, the pace of informatization inthe State Grid Corporation was significantly accelerated, that provides an opportunity tobreakthrough the "bottleneck" of the audit of grid engineering, utilize information systemscomprehensively, use computer aided audit, then to achieve on-line monitoring and enhancethe management and monitoring strength of the project.Computer Audit is the application of modern computer technology in the field ofauditing. By using computer-assisted audit tools, we can audit related activities of the audittarget objects, conduct compliance audits according to the relevant business processes andrules for business activities, reveal the risk in business and put forward rectification opinionsthrough data collection, statistical analysis and other methods. In the process of auditing, wecan also concern the problems about information systems security, database security and usermanagement, reveal the risks which exists in information systems and propose rectification.Due to the information technology has penetrated into all walks of life currently, enterpriseinformation technology are increasingly high dependence, so the audit related withinformation system has become the focus. Computer audit has become a clear direction ofdevelopment of audit, and will have a profound impact on audit profession.This paper explored the audit techniques, processes and methods of power engineeringand studied how to audit the project online with computer technology. Our research took intoaccount the new situation of project management in power enterprise in recent years, based onthe research of the power enterprise’s informatization environmental, and learned many advanced computer audit techniques and methods. So our research is not only beneficial tothe power grid enterprises to carry out online audits in the informatizaiton environment, butalso have a strong reference and the reference value for other domestic enterprises to carry outsuch studies.
