Along with our country’s economy structure adjustment and the transformation of economic growth mode, the financial system must be more reasonable and effective to allocate financial resources. But the economic and financial resources are scattered decentralized and imbalance in region, therefore, regional financial center are to perfect the market system and optimize resource allocation, and drive regional economic to development sustained and rapid. When it comes to the analysis of differences on regional finance, most papers analyzed regional financial center’s construction issue from political or economic Angle. But there are many reasons could influence regional financial center’s development, the main factors must be analysed from the perspective of financial geography.Financial Geography is a theoretical extension of the New Economic Geography, the most important theoretical studies have focused on the financial agglomeration theory and information theory. This is precisely the most important theoretical basis for regional financial center study. On the on hand, the financial sector to the sensitivity of the information is much higher than other industries. On the other hand, the closer from the hinterland area and the higher agglomeration of the financial institution, The faster access to information. Therefore, financial Geography theory to study the construction of a regional financial center is very necessary. To some extent, financial geography theoretical provides an unique perspective and breakthrough point to study of the regional financial center. In the Space Economy theory, the metropolitan is composed of core cities with strong economic potential energy, radiation and numbers of surrounding cities. Take Single-center metropolitan area as example, The Core cities radiate and attract the surrounding cities, from inside to outside, as the performance of "core area (ring)-close-knit circle-Pan Influence circle, which echoes with "Core-periphery" model from Financial agglomeration theory in Financial Geography and clarifies the center influence on the surrounding. The "Self-organization" mentioned in the financial geographic, its self-evolution process shows how the core radiates the edge and the edge support the core. The characteristics of financial activities spatial agglomeration and Spatial Economic theory are basically the same in content thus, similar research Methods as well. Financial institutions’ accession to the developed areas on one hand can occupy the potential market; on the other hand can reduce the transaction costs. Due to the lack of advantages to attract financial institutions, under a cost-benefit calculation, they have to slow down the footsteps into undeveloped areas. With the progress of undeveloped areas, financial institutions will quickly adjust market strategy by establishing sub-agencies in undeveloped areas gradually. In the mean time, in order to expand the market, they will gain access to the developed areas. In this paper, using the method of defining the space of the city circle to illustrate an urban circle to the core city of the neighboring cities field strength and radial force, this also on the corresponding financial geography "core-edge" model of the corresponding financial agglomeration effect, make sure the financial agglomeration geographical correlation, the regional financial center theory and xian chengdu city circle of the radiation of the current situation of the development of municipal financial combination, on this basis, this paper puts forward the relevant policy suggestions from the aspect of urban construction and economic development, financial optimization and information sharing. Is theoretically analyzed the Midwest regional financial center construction necessity and specific path, and through a lot of investigation and statistical analysis demonstrates the city which is more suitable for as the financial center.
