Party’s eighteen big report "to solve agricultural rural farmers workproblems is the top priority"，"also pointed out that to promote the farmers’ income，keep the farmers’ income continued fast growth.This article based on research and development of Chinese literature at home andabroad， first of all on agricultural structure related meaning the definition， thecharacteristics of the agricultural structure adjustment and agricultural structure， thispaper analyzes the restrict factors of agricultural structure， etc， and generalizes thetheory to the agricultural structure adjustment， and analyzed the agricultural structureadjustment by market expansion effect， comparative advantage effect， industrycluster effect three effect to promote peasants’ income; Then based on the historicaldata of agricultural structure and the converting speed coefficient and conversiondirection of agricultural structure coefficient， analyzed the evolution and the presentsituation of agricultural structure in Chongqing， with the eastern， central， west andnortheast China made a comparative analysis， at the same time the author with thechange and the situation of Chongqing’s rural per capita income with the eastern，central.This article through studies the following conclusions: first， the naturalconditions in Chongqing which limits the development of planting industry， to thepresent condition of science and technology， Chongqing’s planting cannot scale andmechanization， and the planting industry output value of per capita net income offarmers will produce negative effects， so the Chongqing should develop appropriateplanting industry; Second， Chongqing although the natural conditions are suitable forthe development of forestry and animal husbandry，but because of forestry and animalhusbandry of money demand is higher， has yet to play to the advantages of forestryand animal husbandry in Chongqing， both for farmers per capita net income of almostnot influence， Chongqing should encourage the development of forestry and animal husbandry; Third， the natural conditions in Chongqing is suitable for the developmentof the fishery. What is more， the fishery industry chain is completed and fishery hasadvanced production technology. It has positive effect to the per capita net income offarmers， Chongqing should vigorously develop fishery.
