With the development of market economy, the competition in market is moreand more fierce. Facing only a project for a customized enterprise has become lessand less. Instead, many different types of projects need be done at the same timefor a resource-limited enterprise. How to finish the projects effectively andlow-costly at the same time has become concern for the enterprise. For usingresources and achieving the expected effect, enterprises usually adopt a newmanagement method--enterprise multi-project management.This paper was based on the above background, making full use of theoreticalresearch and empirical research combined, elaborated the necessity and thepractical significance for Hunan Post&Telecom Smart System EngineeringCO.LTD implementing multi-project schedule management. At the same time, inorder to ensure that the improvement programs can be adapted to the company’sdevelopment, and better using newer research, the paper has a large number ofliterature research on the theory of project management, multi-projectmanagement, multi-project schedule management theory. On the basis oftheoretical research, this paper had ndertook thorough research on development,organizational structure, project characteristics, and multi-project managementcurrent situation for Hunan Post&Telecom, put forward on problems of projectschedule management for Hunan Post&Telecom. On a combination of the abovetheoretical research and practical analysis, this paper put forward systemimprovement programs by closely attatching to problems for the enterprise. Theimproved program contans mainly five aspects, such as process reengineering,project scheduling, resource allocation, plan check and risk control. Finally, inorder to ensure the scheme implementated effectivly, combining with the currentsituation and strategic needs for the company, this paper introduces theimplementation steps, and put forward the measures improvement required forsupporting the scheme.This paper has some basic exploration from project management, for theenterprise as Hunan Post&Telecom, how to have high efficiency multi projectscheduling management in the increasingly fierce competition market. Namely,when pursuiting increasingly high profits, for an enterprise, how to make full use of modern project management thought, ensure projects are done on schedule, andhave effectiveness to management, and make core competitiveness for enterprises.
