| With the development of economy,science and technology,the project schedule and resource allocation of the multi-project management have become the hotspot for the project management research and development in nowadays IT companies.With the limited resources,the problem of disorder is obvious in the multi-project management for the companies.Function and project attribute always require employees to hold several posts simultaneously and they are seriously overworked.Companies are short of effective project screening mechanism.When projects are implemented in parallel,the competition for resources would definitely be intensified,and this will cause conflicts in allocating project resources and delays and overspending in implementing projects,affecting the dev elopment of companies.Therefore,the reasonable arrangement of multi-project schedules and the effective allocation of resources are the core for the multi-project management in companies.This paper takes the issue of resource allocation in the multi-project management as the subject.First,it summarizes theories,present situations,and problems in the multi-project management in IT companies.After discussing the present situations and problems of this kind in S company,it concludes that the major influences for the multi-project resource allocation which include the reasonable project scheduling,detailed project resource planning and effective project resource allocation.Second,it relies on evaluation factors of project priorities in the analysis of multi-project management with company strategies and establishments,with the management idea of Balanced Score Card(BSC),the indicator system of multi-project priorities including four dimensions of strategic coupling degree,and advantages and disadvantages of risks,finance,and competition.It also adopts the strategic analytic hierarchy process to evaluate and study the indicator system.Last,under the constrained condition in which the time duration of projects and the quantity of resource alloc ation are in inverse proportion relationship,the results of evaluating the multi-project priorities are taken as the decision base and the quantities of core sharing resources in the allocation of tasks are taken as the decision variable to establish the model of resource allocation based on the strategic multi-project priorities in companies.In the end,S Company is taken as an example to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the scheme of optimized resource allocation.The research results have certain functions and practical values for S Company to carry out multi-project management and optimize resource allocation,and have proposed referential methods and models for the management of schedule planning and resource allocation which involved in the process of multi-project management in companies. |
