The New Rural Social endowment policy is another beneficial policy which ispracticed in the countryside of our country, as the primary members of the policy, theinfluence factors of the farmers’ willingness to take part in the policy and which classof premium the farmers are willing to pay for, and why some farmers are not willingto take part in the policy, and why most of the farmers choose the lowest premium,and how are the farmers’ satisfaction with the new policy, these are the study focusesand main parts of the paper.The paper is consist of six parts. The first part is the introduction, including thestudy background and significances of the paper, and the relevant studies preventingat home and abroad and the main contents of the paper. The second part in about thedesign and issue of the questionnaires and the sources of the data, giving it in arelatively detail way. Based on the bi-Logistic Model, the third part comes to find thatthe farmers’ age, health status, family income, family land, the way to know about thenew policy and trust status of the new policy and the significant influence factors ofthe farmers willingness to take part in the policy. Above that, the paper comes to findthat family income and the design of the policy itself are responsible for the fact thatsome farmers are not willing to take part in the policy. The fourth part continues tofind that the age, marital status, health status, family income, familiar status of thepolicy, knowing way and trust status of the policy are significant influence factors ofthe premiums the farmers are choosing when they decide to take part in the policy, byusing the Ordered Probit Model. On the basis of this, the paper finds that most of thefarmers choose the lowest premium because farmers tends to follow each other andthe family income acts here, and the design of the policy also contributes to the fact.In the fifth part, by analyzing the pressure status, the predicting status and thesatisfaction of the existing rural social endowment system, the paper finds that thosefarmers who already taken part in the policy acts better that those who haven’t takenpart in the policy and those who are not willing to take part in the policy. This, tosome extent, shows that the policy does help with the farmers’ life and psychologicallevel. And the paper also comes to support the fact that the elders in the countrysideare tend to be good taken care of not only by the traditional family ways, but also thenew social endowment ways. The paper continues to use the PSM method to analyze the specific effects of the policy on different farmers. And the paper finds that bytaking part in the policy, farmers do acts better in valuing the exsiting oldageendowment system, and the improvement is statistically significant. The last part ofthe paper consists of some conclusions and suggestions.
