A Measure And Analysis On The Internationalization Efficiency Of High-tech Firm From The Technological Standard Perspective

In the competition of technology and economic globalization, high-tech firms cantruly capture the market with only obtaining the core techno logy. Nowadays the corecapacity and internationa lization efficie ncy of high-tech firms are presented indevelop ing PCT (Patent Cooperatio n Treaty) patent and partic ipating even leadingimportant internationa l techno logical standard. Strategic ma nage ment of technolo gicalstandard has become an important part of firm international developme nt process, inparticular, has become more prominent in the high-tech firm internationa lization.Therefore, keeping the rational a llocation in the input-output of firminternationa lization based on the technologica l standard, will not only develop towardto the harmo ny and optimized direction, but also provide scie ntific basis for theevolution from high-tech firm to multinationa l firm. At the same time, it will provideimportant revelatio n for high-tech firms in promoting technolo gy standardizationstrategy and accelerating internationa l development.Firstly, this paper systematically has expounded techno logy innovation theory,strategic mana geme nt theory and techno logical standard economic theory. Theresearch results of high-tech firm internatio nalization, technology standardization ofhigh-tech firms and the measure ment of high-tech firm internationa l efficie ncy havebeen systematically revived. Then t his paper not only has revealed the connotatio n andleve l of high-tech firm internationa l effic ienc y based on technologica l standard,influenc ing factors of high-tech firm internationa l efficie ncy and measure mentmethods of high-tech firm internationa l efficienc y, but also has built high-tech firminternationa l efficie ncy input-output model. Lastly, regarding the companies of HuaweiTechnologies Co. Ltd and ZTE Corporatio n as two simp les, input-oriented DEA (DataEnve lopment Analys is) measurement method was introduced to measure high-techfirm internationa l effic iency model which has been built, in order to provide datawhich has exp lained the common proble ms in the process of high-tech firminternationa lization. On this basis, this paper has got manage ment recommendationsfor the process of high-tech firm internationa lization and has provided assistance todetermine high-tech firm techno logical standard tactics and internationa l direction.Having ana lyzing the internationa l effic iency of the two companies of HuaweiTechnologies Co. Ltd and ZTE Corporation showed that they had great progress in thedevelop ment of techno logical standard and internationa lizatio n; the internationa lization effic iency of Huawei Techno logies Co. Ltd was relative ly better.In the process of high-tech firm internationa lizatio n, there has been some commonproblems whic h affected internationa lization deve lopment efficie ncy on thosehigh-tech firms were too dependent on R&D fund ing and investment and internationa lpatent were less than normal. The change of high-tech firm internationalizationeffic iency responded to the process of international develop ment. High-tech firmswould adopt different technologica l standard strategies according to their actua lsituation to improve their internationa l competitiveness. The internationa l effic iency ofhigh-tech firms presented an inverted U-shaped changing trend in the long term.
