The Empirical Research On Relationship Between Wuhan Modern Logistics Development And Economic Growth

With the development of urbanization, industrialization and information, modern logistics industries have a good development as an newly emerging industry, and gradually become a connection of production and consumption. Modern logistics is a composite service, it is an important part of national economy which was once been looked as pillar industry of economic development of the21st century, it is the third profit source after the human resources which brought the attention of all over the world. And the development of modern logistics industry has become a measurement of a region’s economic level and one of the symbols of comprehensive strength. In recent years, Wuhan has fully realized the urgency and necessity of speed up the development of modern logistics industry to its economic development, so it is important to improve the core competitiveness of modern logistics in Wuhan, which can let it to play a full role in economy.The content of this paper research mainly includes the following aspects:Chapter one first give us information on the subject of modern logistics and economy development in Wuhan and the background and significant on why we choose this topic; then make some specific explanations on modern logistics and modern logistics with economy at home and abroad, which all lay the foundation for the following qualitative analysis, finally we pointed out the type of research and technical way of finishing this paper. Chapter2is mainly theoretical analysis, the related theories about modern logistics, relevant theory about regional economy, and the relationship between modern logistics and regional economic theory. The third chapter is mainly to do qualitative analysis on the relationship between the modern logistics and economic growth in Wuhan city, to explain the promoted relations with each other from theory aspect. The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis part, this paper selected representative indicators of economic growth and on behalf of the modern logistics industry in the development of indicators, a total of5, make unit root test, co-integration test, regression analysis and Granger causality analysis, finally concluded with specific data. The fifth chapter mainly promote the specific implementation Suggestions and solutions on behalf of the above qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, combined with the existing problems of Wuhan. This paper reveal the specific relationship between modern logistics and economic growth in Wuhan with qualitative and quantitative aspects, use specific data to prove that modern logistics can help the economic growth and economic development can promote modern logistics development, So we should give full play to its mutual promotion. At the same time of improving the core competitiveness of enterprises to promote the development of economy.
