Since breakout of the global financial crisis in2008, the world economy remains swaying. Though, one after another, governments all over the world have carried out extensive economic stimulus measures, the road leading to recovery still seems far away. Two years after breakout of the financial crisis, the American economy gets to its bottom, the European debt crisis keeps intensifying, and the global economy gets into another panic of recession. Many investors have anticipated that the emerging markets may get away from the advanced economies, but reality shows that this is too optimistic. Chinese stock markets drops even more than those in America. The reason is that it is difficult for an economy to keep itself unaffected against the background of global economic integration. The global financial crisis which hasn’t even occurred in a century brings us into an unprecedented plight, but also creates an important strategic opportunity for us to transform the mode of economic development. Against such a background, it is of practical significance to study sustainable development of enterprises so as to find the way of sustainable growth for enterprises to realize harmonious and stable development, and get rid of the mire of crisis as soon as possible. The objective of this thesis is directed to combining the sustainable development theory with practical business operations of enterprises, guiding strategic decision and operation management for specific enterprises with theory of sustainable growth, providing a new management idea and thought for the manager. In the course of operation of an enterprise, speed of development is usually an important problem puzzling the manager. A speed too fast or two slow can both bring about adverse effect for the company. In fact, a company usually put on different characters of growth during different phases of development of the enterprise. In order to realize a long time sound development of an enterprise, not only the present life cycle should be considered, the market prospect, resource occupation, R&D capability and business efficiency should also be comprehensively considered. Based on review of current domestic and foreign research status on the problem of sustainable growth, the implication of sustainable growth and financially sustainable growth is enucleated first in this thesis, and then, the four models of sustainable development widely accepted by current circle of theory are analyzed, their advantages and limitations are evaluated respectively. Finally, data verifications for four models are performed respectively with six-year finance data from MG company, providing guiding opinions and advices for the company to realize sustainable financial growth, directing the enterprise to constitute effective business strategy, and come to a road of sustainable development featuring independent innovation, resource conservation, environmentally friendly, fine management, quality efficiency, all rings in the industry chain developing inclusively.Innovative points in this thesis mainly reside in the following three aspects:firstly, selecting MG company as study sample, analyzing adaptability, limitation, discrepancies of the four models of sustainable development and their causes, pointing out that Rappaport model is not suitable for agency companies with lower investment; Secondly, data from2006to2011of the sample company are selected to make quantitative analysis, including data two years before and three years after breakout of the financial crisis, the conclusion of the study reflects the influence of financial crisis on sustainable growth of domestic enterprises. Thirdly, as suggestions and measures for improvements, the concept of inclusive growth for industrial chain was proposed for the first time, which interpreted from a new viewpoint the long time effect of industrial compatibility on sustainable growth for enterprises.
