Credit card is one of micro finance payment tool which the commercial bank provides the users, which is the delivery of non-cash and with consumption after repayment. Credit cards originated in the United States, which played an important role in promoting consumption and stimulating domestic demand. By the end of2011, the number of newly issued credit cards in China is55million and the credit cards altogether accumulates285million pieces.Because Credit card business is in the early stage of development in our country, the major banks launched a completion for consumers to expand the development of credit card business, and strength the marketing strategy of the credit card to college students. Through the phenomenon of irrational consumption and malicious overdraft in individual students groups in recent years, it is found that there are some problems in the blind competition for college students groups among the banks. The problems are the lack of explaining knowledge of credit card to students, how to use a credit card rationally and so on. The China Banking Regulatory Commission issued the notice on further standardizing credit card business on July16th,2009, that raises the threshold on the students application. However, there are a lot of demands in students.In this paper, we use the form of questionnaire to understand the consumption with credit cards of college students in the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background, significance thoughts and methods, summary of the logical construction, consumption theory, and the impact factors of credit card consumers and so on.The second chapter mainly describes the design method and the analysis of questionnaire about the consumption with credit card of college students, and analyzes the consumption of credit cards of college students.The third chapter explores the demographic characteristics variables, the credit card attitude variables, the credit card consumer attitudes and its influencing factors of credit card using behaviors, through the establishment of a theoretical model.The fourth chapter describes the problem existed in the consumption with credit card of college students.The last chapter puts forward the proposals from the point of view of the standardizing financial security and the steady and mature development of credit card market of college students.The possible innovations of this thesis may lie in:As for topic selection, I mainly take the students with finance and financial management knowledge as research objects, and attempts to pursue innovation.As for analysis, I choose credit card attitude scale based on previous studies of the scholars, and attempts to introduce the credit consumer attitudes and demographic characteristics to explore the influencing factors of credit card using behavior. It is Just for researching and discussing step by step in academics.Of course, credit card using behavior involves many subjects, I just attempt to explore the interested subject of performance appraisal under the guidance and help of teachers, and look forward to providing some help to the development of credit card market of college students.Considering my theoretical attainment, knowledge, abilities of research and analysis and knowledge internalization have deficiency and limitations, there must be some mistakes and careless omissions, and I sincerely look forward to your criticism.
