With the successful service transition in manufacturing industry in developed countries, themanufacturing industry is also undergoing profound historical changes, at the beginning ofservice-oriented manufacturing development in our country, we need to adopt and imitateinnovations under the service-oriented manufacturing mode from other countries, so it’sparticularly significant to all enterprises under service-oriented manufacturing environment.Firstly, this paper describes the competitive advantage between the traditionalmanufacturing model and the service-oriented manufacturing mode, through the researching onthe connotation, composition, behavior characteristics and expression of innovation adoption, itis more easily to analyze the influence factors of the innovation adoption behavior in essence.Secondly, in order to understand the influence factors of adoption process more clearly,according to the subjects that participant in the innovation adoption process, this paper dividesinfluences factors into three dimensions, they’re innovation source dimension, innovationdiffusion dimension and innovation adopter or potential adopter dimension. Based on thecompetitive advantages and the behavior characteristics of the service-oriented manufacturingenterprise innovation adoption behavior, this paper presents the influencing factors of eachdimension, such as innovation source dimension, it can be divided into innovation rate of return,invisibility of service innovation and the monopoly of innovation (difference) three sides.Finally, we design a questionnaire to clearly understanding of the factors in the process ofinnovation adoption, to collecting data, and apply the SEM (structural equation model) to test thepath of influencing factors, and at last we get the path coefficient of influencing factors.According to the results, we draw the corresponding conclusion and each dimension of theproposed improvement measures.
