With the change of the internal and external environment in the manufacturing industry,the status of services in manufacturing have significantly improved, the boundary betweenservices and manufacturing is no longer clear, there have been more and more significantintegration between these two. Manufacturing enterprises start to use the service to makedifferentiation strategy and enhance the competitiveness of their products even chang into theservices sector for new sources of value. The academia call it service enhancement effect.In this paper, we choose the commercial goods market which reflects the serviceenhancement effect clearly as our object then combine the dynamic capability, client assetsand enterprice growth theory together to examine in detail the service enhance effect fromcauses to consequences. Through the literature research and survey visits, we establish atheory model which can describe the service enhancement effect. Through this model, we findout that the service enhancement effect can be divided into four levels: the first level are theorganization of modular, intellectual capital and knowledge resources; the second level isdynamic capabilities; the third level is the client assets; the last level is the enterprice growth.The low-level of the service enhancement effect drives the formation of the high-level step bystep and ultimately good client assets will achieve the enterprice growth.We use empirical studies to verify the effectiveness of the model through the use offactor analysis, multiple regression analysis, structural equation modeling and the largesample survey data. The empirical results show that client assets have a direct positive impacton the enterprice growth; dynamic capabilities has a positive impact on the enterprice growthby the intermediary role of client assets; the organizations modular, intellectual capital andknowledge resources have a positive impact on enterprice growth by the intermediary role ofdynamic capabilities and client assets.
