Since the beginning of the twenty-first century, the Japanese market has become the third largest market for Chenzhou Mining company, outranked only by Europe and the United States. What’s more,Japan’s machinery industry, automobile manufacturing, mining industry and other related industries are developed. So its market potential is remarkable How to develop the Japanese market more reasonably and effectively,and develop a viable marketing strategy based on analysis of various factors in-depth, is of practical significance.Based on the basic theory of marketing strategy, applying such methods as SWOT analysis and STP analysis to investigate and collect materials, this paper makes a more detailed and comprehensive analysis of general marketing environment of the Japanese market, and furthermore the competitive environment of tungsten products. On the other hand, this paper makes a comprehensive analysis in depth about Chenzhou Mining Company’s intangible resources, physical resources, human resources and corporate capacity, combining with its marketing objectives. It concludes opportunities and threats that Chenzhou Mining companies are facing,as well as its own strengths and weaknesses. After those comprehensive analysis of internal and external environment,it puts forward the product positioning in the Japanese market for Chenzhou Mining company, and confirms to adopt cost leadership strategy. Based on this strategy,it advises a series combination of marketing strategies, as well as measures to ensure the implementation of marketing strategies. Focusing on Chenzhou Mining Tungsten Products’import and export situation, this paper then conducts a detailed analysis of the development actualities, policy environment, competition policy, investment prospects, market capacity in the tungsten products industry.This paper shares ideas with the tungsten products enterprises about improving enterprise management level, enhancing the the enterprises’export marketing capabilities, and hunting for their own market share in the fierce competition of the international market.
