Abstract:A very important process in human resources development and management is the business-to-employee performance evaluation and assessment. A scientific and sound performance appraisal system will effectively motivate employees to increase corporate value and core competitiveness. Based on the theoretical results of the performance evaluation at home and abroad, combined with practical problems in HUADA Company, this article makes some exploration and research on performance appraisal system, and puts forward a set of performance appraisal system which is more appropriate to HUADA Company. The article has a certain significance on HUADA’s performance evaluation, moreover some reference value has been provided for human resource management of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises.Firstly the paper summarizes the research of performance evaluation at home and abroad, and illustrates the related definitions of performance appraisal. Next, the situation of HUADA Company has been introduced.In view of its personnel assessment situation, the article has a detailed analysis of a series of difficulties and problems mainly from positioning, process, evaluation and other aspects in HUADA Company. Subsequently, the paper redesigns employee performance appraisal program for HUADA Company. As to the selection of indicators and weights, the article uses some specific sector as an example to illustrate the ideas and procedures in new performance appraisal programs, and points out that the focus required in the operation and the key points while implementing. Finally, the article presents a number of the successful measures, including cognitive, organizational structure and culture protection, to ensure the new performance appraisal system implement smoothly. HUADA’s security advice, including cognitive, organizational structure and culture protection. At the same time, further refinement of the key points for the implementation of safeguards elaboration has been point out. Conclusion and outlook section summarizes the full text and makes a reflection and discussion on the direction of future research.
