| With the rapid development of economic globalization, as well as some related preferential policies of the host country, multinational investment has become normal at present. And the multinational companies that attracted by the investment policy of the host countries enter in different modes, and the different modes forms different forms of ownership. Because of the degree of control, the learning’s willingness of subsidiaries/joint ventures, the ability to accept and so on, the transnational knowledge transferring under the different forms of ownership is so complex. So whether the forms of ownership affects the success of knowledge transfer, and what factors influence it, is the focus of this article.This paper selected six representative enterprises as the research object:Dong guan Shinano, Bayer Hangzhou, Ningbo GP&Sanyo, Hai zheng pharmaceutical, Hua dong Pharmaceutical and Dun li. This study uses the method of case analysis, studying how the different forms of ownership affect on the process of knowledge transfer and what are the factors.After the analysis of the study, this paper found that the forms of ownership affect the transfer ability of knowledge sources. The increasing of the degree of control needs the more stronger of the communication capacity of transfer capacity; While for the recipient of knowledge, the higher the degree of control on the form of ownership has greater impacts on the recipient willingness to learn, while the low form of ownership control has no effect on the willingness to learn; In the study of mutual relation, the degree of control of ownership forms and the power relations have no reverse relationship, but the more equal of the power relation, the more transferring of knowledge; because of the different degree of control, the form of ownership generates different impacts in different stages on the trust. Finally this paper has a brief discussion on the mechanism of the effect of ownership on knowledge transfer. |
