In recent years, food safety problems in China are constantly emerging. The situation is becoming worse. Food safety is related to the food industry chain integrity, and more related to life safety. How to manage the food safety, let common people eat the rest assured, no doubt is a very urgent, important task.Although the Chinese government has committed to establish and improve the food safety regulatory mechanism, but compared with other developed countries, there is still a gap. The United States has the world’s most secure food supply system, its food safety regulatory system has also been a model to follow other countries. According to the United States food safety supervision mechanism as reference, the Sino-US food safety supervision of the main function, food safety legislation, the regulatory model of food safety regulation and other aspects of comparison, search difference, find out the good aspect we can draw lessons.
