Selection And Implementation Of The Road West SME Technology Innovation Strategy

In the background of China’s economic growth mode transformating, technology innovation has been paid more and more attention. Both from the following two perspectives: the practical requirement of China’s technical innovation level has been improved and the ultimate goal of enhancing regional economic competitivenes. Both need to strengthen the ability of technology innovation in China. The development of the western region is always not wery well, and comparing with the Middle East extists a great gap. Breakthrough in the development of the western region is the fundamental way out of the trough. The SMEs is not only an important force to promote the development of the whole nation’s economic, but also plays an important role in the economic development of the western region. Therefore, promoting the level of SMEs’ technology innovation in the western region is an important and helpful means to realize the rapid development of the western Regions. Taking this as a starting point, this article is combined with the development situation of the SMEs in western China, reserching on the selection and the implementation of technology innovation strategy, and the technology innovation path’s selection and the optimization.This paper focuses on the following three points. Firstly, analyzing the western SMEs’ internal and external environment of the technology innovation by the SWOT model. Based on the qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis of SMEs’technology innovation environment in the western region advantages, including the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, challenges. The conclusion is that general direction of SMEs’technology innovation strategy in western region is the reverse strategy. Secondly, it summarizes the three major goals of SMEs’technological innovation strategic in the western region, analyses the selection of independent innovation strategy, imitative technology innovation strategy and cooperative technical innovation strategy in detail. The conclusion is that the future choice of the SMEs’technology innovation strategy in western region is cooperation technology innovation strategy. And then put forward the key points of the SMEs’technological innovation strategic implementation. Finally, based on determining the choosing step of SMEs’technological innovation in the west, and after analysing the realistic choice of the SMEs’technological innovation path in the west, we found that determing the technological innovation path should be accorded the SMEs’different stages. That is, at SMEs’early stage, we should choose absorbed-integrated-imitated innovation path; at the SMEs’growth stage, we should choose the expanded and cooperated technology innovation path; at the SMEs’ mature stage, we should choose the accumulated-independent innovation model.
