B Group Corporation has made various attempts before and after the strategy thatnational defense industry should learn military and civilian manufacturing techniques was putforward by the central authorities in the late1120s. The civilian products of China NorthIndustries Group mainly involve such fields as heavy vehicles, engineering machines, finechemical industry, oil chemical industry, auto parts, railway products, special steel products,steel machining, civil explosive products, oil equipments, photoelectricity information,strategic emerging industry and so on. Currently, although the civilian product market ofOrdnance Industry Group has a good momentum of development, there are some problems ofbeing disordered, scattered, low, etc., which bring severe challenges on many fronts. B GroupCorporation owns82key manufacturing enterprises of civilian products, whose overall scaleof economy and speech right in market are very limited, and the core competitiveness to leadthe industry development has not formed. We should integrate the internal superior resources according to theprinciple of “Have advancing and have receding”.This paper developed a strategic and systematical analysis of the advantages anddisadvantages of civilian product development in B Group Corporation. Each leading industryhas been given strategic research according to the market scale of hundred-billion class,ten-billion class and five-billion class. The corporation value standard has been discussed inorder to further clarify the value orientation of B Group Corporation. Comprehensivelyapplying various strategic management theories, it put forward the strategic target centeringon the idea that the product, industrial and income structure should be obviously optimized,technological, market and strategic status should be apparently promoted, and B GroupCorporation will be built to be the important industrial base of Chinese heavy equipments,special chemical industry and photoelectricity information. Moreover, a suit of complatestrategic scheme has been formed surrounding the target. This study has actual and directsense to the civilian product development in B Group Corporation. this study can also providereference to the army-civilian integration development in national defense industry andinnovation of mechanism and system in state-owned enterprises.
