The competition between enterprises is talents competition in the final analysis. How to make full use of the KSA to make more performance is the key of the company. With the development of the knowledge economy, more and more people have high degree and high skill, but not are fully used, which makes them underemployment. And this phenomenon is more apparent of the knowledge staff in the High-tech enterprise. The research about the antecedents of underemployment has based on Multi-views, but lack of systematic research. So this paper discusses underemployment in the job characteristic angle. And it discusses the interaction of internal career opportunities and perceived supervisor support on the effect between job characteristics with underemployment. The paper builds the model about the accidents of underemployment based on the literature analysis. Then we take knowledge staff of high-tech enterprise as samples, test the hypotheses and get the conclusions. Finally, some suggestions and future research are given based on the conclusions:(1) Part of work characteristic can significantly affect underemployment;(2) Internal career opportunities can positive significantly affect underemployment;(3) Perceived supervisor support can positive significantly affect underemployment;(4) The interaction between internal career opportunities and part of work characteristic can significantly affect underemployment;(5) The interaction between perceived supervisor support and part of work characteristic can significantly affect underemployment.
