The long-term distribution of land fragment, which brings about low yield of every farmer household, has led to production and management decentralization of Chinese farmer households. Faced with enormous consumption market, they cannot have the easy access to market demands. In this way, information acts such a significant role in logistics. Therefore final decisions can only be made after the response from assemblers, forwarding agents and wholesalers. So many logistics intermediaries will certainly give rise to the total logistics cost. Besides land fragment will also be likely to contribute to a waste of cultivated land resources, availability efficiency restriction of agricultural machinery, scale economic effect reduction of agricultural production and difficulty increasing of agricultural production transportation. This thesis is composed of five parts. The first section analyzes the land fragment’s influence on the present situation of vegetable logistics. Then the second part summarizes several existing efficient modes of logistics and their problems and takes a deep discussion about the logistics modes of typical agricultural products in America and Japan. In terms of these influence and problems, a new logistics mode is adopted to adjust to the present situation and decrease the negative effect on agriculture development in the third section. This mode is composed of two portions, e-trade platforms and short-cut model, of which the functions and operations are introduced in detail.Afterwards, the new mode is checked in theory and by examples in the fourth section. This paper is targeted at Huairen County in Shanxi Province and some peripheral countries. On the basis of the author’s collection of cost, vegetable price and sales volume, the operation of the new mode is simulated to calculate the new cost and revenue. Its comparison with the previous cost and revenue can check the effectiveness of this new mode well. Such conclusion as a result of integration of theory with practice is more convincing. At last, the outcome proves the expectation that the new mode is good for logistics cost reduction and revenue increase of farmer households. Moreover, the new mode improves the efficiency, saves the cost of logistics and increases the farmers’ earnings. Thus their interests are fully guaranteed. Accordingly, not only does the problem of being difficult to sell and being expensive to buy vegetables get solved but also a virtuous circle are formed to encourage farmers to develop diversified cultivation on condition of land fragment which acts a positive role in preserving biodiversity of farmland system, maintaining ecosystem stability and promoting agricultural sustainable development.
