The Path Research To Enhance The Entrepreneurial Competencies Of College Students

Recalling the domestic talent market in recent years, The demand growth rate ofcollege students have missed the boat on the graduates increase’s speed, China’semployment situation is grim now, especially where college graduates are concerned,it is increasingly becoming a social issue. It has been observed that the Chinese arein an era of economic boom and provide a lot of opportunities to college students, inthis situation, more and more students began to go the other way-their ownbusinesses. College students as a new venture group have much different comparedwith other business groups, which is the most important point is thatentrepreneurship and competency of college students. The scholars’ research focuseson the issues that college student having what qualities in order to ensure the successof the venture, as well as how to enhance the entrepreneurial competencies ofcollege students.The study puts the college students of Nanjing as the research object, and hasan empirical study of college students venture competency, combining theory withpractice. First this paper described the theory of "competence","entrepreneurialcompetency" entrepreneurial education”; Second, in reference to the basis ofrelevant literature, it extracted36college students’ entrepreneurial competenceelements through behavioral event interview and built college students theoreticalmodel of entrepreneurial competencies. Again, through research survey of collegestudents in Nanjing and related information, the paper uses SPSS17.0statisticalanalysis software to carry out factor analysis and correlation analysis, and adjusts thecompetency elements of theoretical model, then gets a college students theoreticalmodel of entrepreneurial competencies combining of theory and practice. Finally,through the analysis by the status quo and influencing factors of entrepreneurialcompetencies of college students, we proposed an upgrade path of students startcompetency.
