| Fujian Province is the center of the Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits and its development is of strategic significance to China. Therefore, the study on the agglomeration level of the logistics industry, the economic effects of logistics industry agglomeration and influencing factors of Fujian Province not only expands the industrial agglomeration theories, but also promotes the development of the logistics industry in Fujian Province.The main contents of this paper are divided into the following parts.(1) The concepts of logistics industry and logistics industry agglomeration, the economic effects and influencing factors of logistics industry agglomeration.(2) Study on the current situation of the logistics industry and the measurement of the agglomeration level for logistics industry in Fujian Province(using location quotient, gini coefficient, concentrate ratio and dynamic agglomeration index to calculate the level of logistics industry agglomeration from multiple angles).(3) Based on the theoretical analysis of the economic effects and influencing factors of logistics industry agglomeration, this paper uses the grey relational analysis to prove the existence of the logistics industrial agglomeration economy effects. Then, the study selects9prefecture-level cities in Fujian Province as variable data, using the Panel Date to analyze the influencing factors of logistics industry agglomeration.(4) Finally, the study suggests to speed up the development of Fujian logistics industry agglomeration according to the result of data analysis.The main conclusions of the paper are:(1) Logistics industry maintained steady development in Fujian Province. The static and dynamic indicators analysis shows that there is agglomeration of the logistics industry in Fujian Province.(2) The grey relational degree between location quotient of logistics industry and GDP, the added value of the first, second and third industry, added value of the industry and logistics industry is more than0.6, which shows that the logistics industrial agglomeration economy effect is obvious. Especially the development of the first industry needs the support of the logistics industrial agglomeration, thus the efficient logistics operation mode for agricultural products should be built in Fujian Province.(3) Regression results show that manufacturing level is the most important influence factor of Fujian logistics industry agglomeration and therefore the joint development of logistics industry and manufacturing should be strengthen; Highway advantage greatly promotes the development of the logistics industry agglomeration in Fujian Province, the transportation ways should be used effectively to reduce logistics cost; Business development is not balanced, so it can’t bring impetus for the development of the logistics industrial agglomeration, the whole level of consumption should be improved in Fujian and accelerate the development of trade and logistics; The government has not played the role of promoting the logistics industry agglomeration in Fujian Province, thus we should accurately make use of government’s macro-control role for the logistics industry agglomeration; Investment attraction is also one useful methods of development of the logistics industry agglomeration in Fujian Province. |
