In the background of global green agricultural reform,“green food” gains more and moreattention. But with the increase of green food’s production, the problem in the production is moreand more prominent, and some opportunistic behaviors that come occasionally make us think deeplyabout the true wills of peasants in green food production. Therefore, in the meanwhile of our activeimplement of green food policy, we must not only focus on the increase of green food quantity, butalso on the production’s main body----peasants’ production wills, or to say true appeal, and make amore deep advance of green food production, providing a green shelter to people’s health. And thisthesis is based on those, and through the investigation of nearby village which has a potential will toproduce green food and an analysis of investigation data, we uncover the peasants’ possibleproblems in today’s green food production and try to discover the peasants’ attitudes and wills ingreen food production, providing a research thought to future’s promotion and reform of green foodproduction.The thesis is divided into five parts:The first section is comprised of the thesis’ background, research objectives and significance,framework, innovation and summaries of other scholars, and maybe some mighty insufficient detailsof the thesis. The summary mainly consists of the definition of green food, national and internationalstudy on farmers’ will to produce green and ecological food and their will to takeenvironmentally-protective move in their farming work, etc. And those makes good preparations forthe following empirical study.The second section mainly consists of relevant theories. And some economic analysis is made onthe basis of those theories’ application.On the basis of the theories ahead, the third section makes a summary of the variations, on whichbasis the questionnaire is designed. Afterwards, we implemented the social survey in a nearbyvillage in Jinan and then took back the statistics involved in the questionnaire and put the data intothe software for statistical analysis.The fourth part, also the core part, makes an empirical analysis on farmers’ participating will toproduce green food. First, we give a descriptive statistical analysis of the respondents’ basic information;then reliability and validity analysis and correlation analysis are made to test the data;last but not the least, a model with the key variations involved is made to give a multiple linearregression analysis.The last part gives a summary of the above analysis and results and then gives some suggestionsand advice to improving farmers’ participating will of producing green food.On the basis of the results out of the empirical study, we give the main conclusions:1. According to the study on the current development situation of green food and the informationwe got from the social survey, we found that Shandong cannot rank high in the national green fooddevelopment wave.2. Suggestions on improving farmers’ participating will of producing green food should be givenaccording to its specific local conditions, and what’s more important, we should take a deep lookinto farmers’ real willings and its influencing factors, so that we could accordingly provide theappropriate conditions to fulfill the improvement.3. Despite the variations between the three villages, the overall participating will of farmers toproduce green food is rather high. Through the model test of multiple linear regression analysis, wefinally get six factors that gives notable contribution to the farmers’ participating will, which are age,human resources (party membership, village leadership or college student identity), agriculturalincome, environmentally-protective sense, environmentally-protective producing level, confidenceindex of green food producing.4. Rank of organizations that farmers will participate in green food producing:worker mechanism> contract mechanism> artel mechanism5. There are answers to “why would farmers want to participate in green food producing”: lowrisk, smooth marketing channels, low personal investment level. And to people who don’t want toparticipate, they think there is too few participating people, the earnings may not make it to reachtheir expectations, they don’t understand the according producing technics requirements, or theproducing process is too complex.
