Security Research Manufacturing Industry In China Under The Background Of Foreign Mergers And Acquisitions

Economic globalization has triggered a frenzy of foreign mergers and acquisitions. Since China’s accession to the WTO, foreign investment scale and the breadth and depth of foreign mergers and acquisitions have been expanded. The motivations of mergers and acquisitions are no longer reducing costs or expanding the scale, but the motivation of the global allocation inte-gration of resources in order to achieve the control of this industry. The manufacturing industry is not only the pillar dependent of national economic development, but also the staple sector of our country’s economic growth and the basis of economic transformation. Foreign investment in China’s manufacturing industry mergers and acquisitions target enterprise directed at the indus-industry’s leading enterprises, which will bring about the control of China’s manufacturing ring industry to some extent. Under this background, manufacturing industrial security issues deserve great importance by relevant departments.The study will choose the whole manufacturing enterprises which are mergered and pursed in China as sample in recent years, use the methods such as expert scoring method and Analytic Hierarchy Process to analyze the security status of China’s manufacturing industry, then draw the conclusion and put forward appropriate recommendations. The fundamental details are as follows:In this paper, the author will first review the existing literature on foreign mergers and acqu-isitions and industry security, on this basis carry on basic analysis on the status quo, characterist-ics and the possible economic consequences of China’s manufacturing industry under the backg-round of foreign mergers and acquisitions. Then this paper will draw on authoritative domestic and foreign industrial safety evaluation index system, on this basis, analyze the indicators which are chosen to evaluate the security of China’s manufacturing industry, rate the importance of var-ious indicators by expert scoring method, then analyze the rating results by the Analytic Hierarc-hy Process to calculate the weight of each corresponding evaluation, determine the security ran-ge of China’s manufacturing industry ultimately, analyze the reasons of the research conclusions and put forward the relevant countermeasures and suggestions.The conclusions drawn in this study are as follows:the result of China’s manufacturing ind-ustry safety degree evaluates in the range of "basic security" under the background of foreign mergers and acquisitions. But the security status is not optimistic, which result is very close to the lower limit of the "basic security". That is to say, the degree is very close to the unsafe interval range, which should cause corresponding departments’enough attention. At last, the author will propose relevant countermeasures and suggestions about how to protect the safety of our nation’s manufacturing industry better in the context of foreign mergers and acquisitions.
