Hunan Yu Teng Company is a leading private enterprise engaged in thenon-ferrous metal smelting. After more than ten years of development, the company’soverall strength is in the top three of similar enterprises in Chenzhou City. Duringthe"Twelve Five" period, Hunan Yu Teng company faces the problem of how to breakthe status quo of development, how to achieve rapid and effectivedevelopment.Therefore, it is important for Hunan Yu Teng to research the company’sdevelopment strategy.This study combines domestic strategic management theory with foreignstrategic management theory, and applies them to actual non-ferrous metal industry.Based on the strategic positioning of Yu Teng Company in Hunan, we conductresearch in corporate and collect a lot of related information and materials. At thesame time, it uses the method of theory combined with the actual and studies thedevelopment strategy adopted by Hunan Yu Teng Company in accordance with theenvironmental changes as the research center. The analysis of this paper is as thefollowing steps. Firstly, it discusses the related domestic and foreign strategicmanagement theory to make the theoretical basis for the study. Secondly, it analysesthe macro development environment of Hunan Yu Teng with the PEST analysismethod and uses SWOT analysis to describe the advantages, disadvantages,opportunities and threat that Hunan Yu Teng companies are faced with, which laid asolid foundation for formulating the development strategy of the company.Then itpoints out the specific issues the development of Yu Teng faced with and put forwardthe Hunan Yu Teng Company’s development strategy based on the foregoing analysis.Finally, it analyses what specific measures Hunan Yu Teng need to take and how tosafeguard the implementation of the strategy in order to achieve the developmentstrategy.Through the study, in order to adapt to changes in the environment Hunan YuTeng companies should take a low-cost strategy, the strategy of productdifferentiation and integration strategy. To concrete the Yu Teng company’sdevelopment strategy, it can be realized by building six aspects of the modernoperating system, such as building new production base, ensuring the supply of rawmaterials, strengthening scientific and technological innovation, innovating enterprise management theory, fostering awareness of human capital and building brand. At thesame time, in order to ensure the company’s development strategy in Hunan Yu Tengcan be successfully achieved, it proposes a series of safeguards appropriate. Finally,we hope similar enterprises of the industry can learn from the results of the Hunan YuTeng research.
