The Influence Of Group Process On Group Creativity

The21st century is absolutely a century of knowledge. In this knowledge economy time, the enterprises face with more complicated and more changeable environment. In such a big background, from enterprise to team, they are active to obtain competitive advantage in order to preempt the competitive advantage. So group creativity is undoubtedly an important foundation for enterprises to obtain competitive advantage, and group process factor is the key factor of group creativity. They play important roles for a competitive advantage and the core competitive ability.This article combined factors of group process, knowledge sharing and group creativity and took knowledge sharing as intermediary variables. The article aimed to discuss on the effect and influencing mechanism of factors of group process to group creativity in small-and-medium-sized enterprises of China. Through analyzing group process theory, the author explored what effect the leadership behavior and group communication has on group creativity. We took knowledge sharing factors as the mediator to study the influence of group process relationship on group creativity.Based on above requirements, according to the idea of "group processâ†'knowledge sharingâ†'group creativity", the author reviewed and used the past group creativity theory, group process theory and related models have been studied. Through a series of empirical analysis and validation of the model and the hypothesis, there come to some important conclusions as following:1) transformational leadership and group communication have positive effect on group creativity;2) Authoritarian leadership has a negative effect on group creativity;3) knowledge sharing, performing as mediator variable, does positive effect between group process and group creativity.
